A Century of Rememberance
There is a new display ‘A Century of Remembrance’ in Darwen Heritage Centre from 1st November 2021 until 17th December 2021.
This year is the Centenary of the Unveiling of the Darwen War Memorial in Bold Venture Park .
The photographs are of the Darwen men and women who were in the armed forces in both WWI and WW2.
The cabinet display has war medals and other war related artefacts on show.
Please visit Darwen Heritage Centre to see this new display, which will be on all of the Remembrance Month of November and until we close for Christmas on 17th December.
Hubert Bentley 's Art Exhibition
Starting Friday 5th of November until December 17th, when we shall close for Christmas, is a second art exhibition by Hubert Bentley.
All of his paintings will be for sale and Hubert will be making a donation of 20% of the money taken to Cancer Research and 20% to Darwen Heritage Centre.
