These pictures are from our exhibition held in the Main Exhibition Room commemorating The 75th Anniversary of D.Day. The exhibition attracted a lot of visitors including three Darwen veterans and the Mayor of Darwen and the Mayor of Blackburn.

In 2018 we had a display in our Main Exhibition Room on the Herbert Parkinson weaving mills in Darwen. Also we were presented with a tapestry produced in Darwen which is a replica of the one that hangs in John Lewis store in London.

The Heritage Art Group meets in the Heritage Centre every Friday morning and their 2019 Exhibition in the Main Exhibition Room was enjoyed by all our visitors.

When we held our Famous Women of Darwen Exhibition in the Front Exhibition Room one of the ladies featured in the exhibition, Baroness Massey, visited the centre and gave an inspiring talk in the Main Exhibition Room about her life. She is pictured her with Lisa Edge.
