Below is a collection of photographs of the WW2 War Memorials that can be found around Darwen. Each photograph has the location of the memorial in the text below the photograph. All these photographs have been taken by Albert Gavagan, a trustee and the secretary of Darwen Heritage Centre and we thank him for the chance to look and learn about them. Some of the memorials do not have names on them but all of them are important to us and future generations. We shall remember them.
