The Trustees of DHC are sorry to say that due to a change in the Government guidelines for Blackburn with Darwen as a result of the increase in infections from the Indian variant we will be closed to visitors this week. That is Wednesday 26th May, Friday 28th May and Saturday 29th May. We will monitor the situation and hope that we can reopen as soon as possible.

Darwen Heritage Centre is pleased to say that after being closed for over 12 months due to the Covid Pandemic restrictions we are opening on Wednesday 19th May 2021 at 10am.
Our main entrance is now to the side of the building on Church Street
On entering the Heritage Centre you will be required to check in
by either using the track and trace app or signing in with your details.
You will be asked to wear a mask and to sanitize your hands.
You can then have a cup of tea or coffee in a disposable cup, if you wish.
A Volunteer will then be available to show you around all the exhibitions we have on display.
We will have a few items for sale on display if you wish to purchase something as you leave the Centre.
You will be able to sanitize your hands as you leave.

Friday 1pm – 4pm
Saturday 11am – 3pm
Please note we will be open every Saturday.
